Running the same event across multiple dates, such as a weekly series, or offering different start times? Want to create an event listing that closely mirrors another event or that’s essentially a duplicate of another event listing? You do not need to build each event listing from scratch. Our Clone Event feature lets you duplicate an existing event and make only the changes you need, saving you time and keeping your listings consistent. Here is how to do it efficiently.
Create a Series First
Before you are able to clone an event, you must set up a series. A series groups all of your related dates under one shared link, making it easy for ticket buyers to see every available date and time in one place.

Create and Save Your First Event in the Series
Once your event series has been created, create your first event as you normally would.
When filling out the event form, make sure to check the box beside your series name before saving. This links the event to your Series from the start. If you miss it by chance, you can always edit your event details and there you will find the option to add an event to the series you created.
*Please note that the event must fall within the date range you specified for the series.
This first event will act as a template from which you can create new event listings through the Clone Event feature.
Clone the Event
From the event management page for your first event, click the Clone Event option.
Ticketscene will create a copy of the event and open it in the event edit page. From there, you can update whatever needs to change. Oftentimes this is just the date, start time, or end time, although you can edit any and all details just like any other event.
Repeat this process for each additional event listing you need. Each cloned event will already be linked to your series and will inherit all of the details from the original, so you only ever have to change what is different.
The Clone Event feature saves promoters a ton of time from having to manually enter in all the event details over and over for events that are more or less identical in design.
