Getting your event in front of the right audience is just as important as setting up your ticket sales. At Ticketscene, we have a number of promotional tools we offer to event organizers and promoters for free. Some of these go to work for you automatically, and others you can request from management at info@ticketscene.ca to give your event an extra push. Here is a breakdown of everything available to you as an event organizer on Ticketscene.
Social Media Posts
Starting two weeks before your event date, your event will be featured in our regular social media rotation to reach our growing audience of event-goers across all platforms.
No action is required on your part. Once your event is live, it’s eligible for inclusion.
Weekly Email Newsletter
Our email newsletter goes out weekly to Ticketscene subscribers, and your event will be included in that send starting two weeks ahead of the event date. When your event is included in a send, Ticketscene will email you to let you know.

Home Page Banners for Event Series
If you have a multi-date or multi-time event, we strongly recommend setting it up as a series on Ticketscene. When you do, Ticketscene will create and post a banner for your series on our home page.
Here is how home page banners work:
- Banners go live one month prior to the first event in the series and remain up through the last event in the series.
- Only one banner is in rotation at a time at no cost to you as part of your series listing.
- A secondary banner can be added to the rotation for $99.

Geo-Blast to Local Audiences
A geo-blast sends a targeted notification to Ticketscene users within a 50 km radius of your venue address.
This is a great option for events with strong local appeal or when you want to drive awareness in the community closest to where your event is taking place.
Email to Previous Patrons from Similar Events
Reach people who have already shown they are interested in events like yours. Ticketscene can email your previous patrons from similar events, putting your listing directly in front of an audience that is already engaged and likely to buy.
Email the Waiting List for a Sold-Out Show
If your event has sold out but you are adding a second date or time, Ticketscene can email the waiting list from the original event to let them know. This is one of the most effective ways to drive quick ticket sales for a follow-up show since the audience has already expressed interest.
